Cory M. Marsh is a graduate of SCS, having earned a BA in Biblical Studies (summa cum laude), a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies, and Master of Divinity (academic distinction). Currently, Cory is finishing the Master of Theology degree at SCS and will begin a Ph.D. in Biblical Theology at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City, MO in 2018. In addition to his teaching role as Assistant Professor of Biblical Studies at SCS, Cory also serves as the seminary’s Bible and Theology Programs Coordinator. He is a member of the Evangelical Theological Society, the Evangelical Philosophical Society, the Society of Biblical Literature, and the Council on Dispensational Hermeneutics. Prof. Marsh has written or edited several publications focusing on various topics within Christian theology.
Cory is married to his first-love and high school sweetheart, Shannan. The two live in Orange County, CA. A committed churchman, Cory has served in various pastoral ministries at local churches, and has a passion for teaching and preaching the Word of God in congregational and/or small group settings. Cory and Shannan are members of Mission Bible Church, a church dedicated to the weekly verse-by-verse exposition of Scripture in the city of Tustin, CA.
